In response to concerns of local sheriffs, a director of one of the companies conducting classes had this to say:
“As long as the person has done the firearm safety course that’s required and can successfully complete the background check, I don’t think it’s really about personal opinion,” [Rob] Shewmake said.

Get your training, get your carry permit, and be prepared! It's too late to think about it when you run into someone who wants to murder you.
A thug by all accounts that has been in trouble with the law and never straightened out.
It appears to be a random shooting that makes no sense.
Just by chance, two store clerks are gone.
