The Nebraska man charged in the shooting death of a maintenance worker at the Interstate 80 rest stop near Victor last month has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the case.Earlier reports last week had him pleading guilty.
Peter Riggs, 32, of Columbus, Neb., entered his written plea Monday in the May 29 death of Jeffrey McAdam, 46, of Victor.

Riggs admitted to the shooting to a Johnson county deputy the night of the shooting. Now, he's pleading not guilty.
