The burglary happened between 3 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday at Pete's Gun Shop, at 204 Main Street in Vail Iowa. Someone broke into the store by entering through a vent in the back. Once inside the thief or thieves took several handguns and rifles.Vail, Iowa is located between Denison and Carroll on US Highway 30.
