Wiedenhoff knew immediately that it was his repair business, which sits just 300 feet from his house. He ran out the door and jumped in his pickup to go to the fire station. It wasn’t until he was getting his gear that he realized he hadn’t put on any shoes.I don't intend this to be mean and I don't wish anyone to lose their business. I'm glad no one was hurt and it looks like the guys did their job to keep the fire from spreading.
Between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. Between the Iowa and Cedar. Between the Des Moines and Skunk. I've lived or worked by them all. (Except the Missouri - that one doesn't count.) And fought floods against two of them more than once.
