Supervisor calls Marine a "piece of sh__", then apologizes

Johnson county supervisor, Rod Sullivan's, display of vulgarity Johnson county supervisor's vulgar emails is at it again. It seems he called a blind Marine a "piece of s--t" Official sent second vulgar e-mail a year ago.
"How about Rod saves you a trip and comes over to personally kick your ass?" said an e-mail sent from Sullivan's personal account on Sept. 1, 2008. The e-mail also said, "you make me want to puke."
I doubt he could kick a Marine's ass. Even a blind 73-year-old Marine like Mr Dowell.

He gives what many call a half-hearted apology Sullivan apologizes for foul language.

“I wanted to apologize to the community for poor language,” Sullivan said Thursday morning after the Johnson County Board of Supervisors meeting. He said he did not remember verbatim what he said on the radio show earlier that morning.
An apology to the "community" not to the man and then doesn't remember what he said? What kind of people do Johnson County keep electing, anyway?

I take issue with the articles describing Mr Dowell as an "ex-Marine." No one who served is ever an "ex" Marine.
